Vitamins vs Minerals and which ones are important for older adults

Vitamins are organic compounds obtained from plants and animals, whereas minerals are inorganic compounds that originate in the earth. We need to consume a range of vitamins and minerals to keep our bodies functioning correctly. But more importantly which minerals and vitamins should be making sure we getting enough of as we age?
